Thomas Ruffino Memoriam

Ruffino, Thomas
July 9, 1939 - June 25, 2010
A very lonely year without you - My life will never be the same - We all miss you so very much. All my love "Foreva", Me.

Tom passed away after a six week battle with a bacterial infection with his family surrounding him and by his side.
Tom was born in Buffalo, N.Y. to Anthony and Vita Ruffino. The family including his brothers Stephen, Joe and sister, Carol moved to California in 1952.
Tom graduated John Burroughs High School in 1957 with Bunny Lippman who became his wife in 1965. Tom got a job in the custom division of Columbia Records, LA, in 1959. He was drafted in the Army in 1962 and served until 1964. He then attended college and graduated from San Fernando Valley State College in 1969 (now named California State University, Northridge-CSUN) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. A few years later he got a job at Liberty/UA Records before he was called to Warner Bros. Records in 1969 until he retired in 1999 as the Senior Vice President of the International Department. Tom loved what he did with all his heart.
He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, his daughter Michelle and son Tony. His 5 grandchildren who he was crazy about, Ryan, Harley, Trevor, Nicholas and Warren. His brother Stephen (Sharon), Joe (Jeri), Carol (Jack) and his many nephews and nieces. Tom will be missed more than words can say.

We will missed you more than anyone will ever know. I will miss all the times we spent together on our fishing trips and our great Italy vacation. I will miss all our great conversations.
