Tova Firszt

June 19, 1932 - September 1, 2015 Tova Firszt, a Holocaust survivor, was born in Poland on June 19, 1932. After a long illness Towa passed away on September 1, 2015, in Burbank, California. She was buried Jerusalem on September 4, 2015. Towa was predeceased by her brothers Bernie and Kalman Kurant, and by her sisters Rachel Kurant, Miriam Tagary, and Bina Sniatowski. Towa is survived by many who loved her and will always love her: Dov Firszt, her husband of sixty-four years; her son Chaim Natan; her daughter Rachel, her son-in-law Bernie, and grandchildren Jared, Sheena, Binyamin and Simcha, and Towa's special friends Sheila Breski and Rena Segal and family. Rabbi Shmueli and the entire congregation of Chabad of Burbank, California, will always be remembered and appreciated for the love, care, and kindess they extended to Towa. Towa will always be remembered by her many relatives and friends for her love of life, her kindness, her generosity of spirit, her laughter and her sweetness. To have known Towas was to love her.
