News Death Notice
BOCOCK, Vernon (Bud), Sr. Age 74, of Trotwood passed away Thursday Aug. 7, 2008. Bud was born in Dayton, Oh. Aug. 21, 1933, was a retired plumber & a social member of V.F.W. 5018 & AM Vets 918. Preceded in death by a son, Vernon, Jr. in 1983. Survived by his loving companion Louise; sons & daughters-in-law, Arthur (Shirley), Edward (Sandy) & Harvey (Kathy); 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Hatmaker, Anna Mary Outcalt & Doris Gregory; brother, William & mother of his children, Shirley. Funeral service 1:00 P.M. Monday at the GOERGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pk. at Needmore Rd. Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-4 P.M. Sunday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.gerogecmartinfuneralhome.com

I WAS RAISED IN THE PLATT WITH
BUDDY. WE HAD TWO BUDDY'S. ONE
WAS MY BROTHER. AND THE OTHER
WAS YOUR LOVED ONE. IAM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. THE LAST I
HEARD OF BUD WAS AT ST.EVE HOSP. TWO MEN WERE TALKING ABOUT HIM AS THEY WERE LEAVING THE HOSP. I DIDN'T STOP THEM AND
ASK ABOUT HIM. THAT WAS MY LOSS AS I HAVE COM TOFIND OUT.
WE NEVER HAVE TIME FOR OTHERS.
WE LOST OUR BUD SIXTEEN YEARS AGO THIS MONTH. MY BROTHER IS
