I worked with Victoria on many grants, her dedication to education and the well being of Los Angeles Schools students consumed her life. She was a beautiful person inside and out....she will be both remembered and missed.

I knew Victoria would be my friend the moment I saw her walk into a political science lecture hall at UCLA. Our college years were filled with Victoria's sweet energy, curiosity, intelligent humor and plans for the future. For more than 20 years after that we talked and saw each other, enjoying books, politics, chocolate, foods, dreams and updates on family from places as far away as Washington DC, Orange County and West LA. I have carried my friendship with Victoria in my heart all these years and thank our destinies for sharing her with me. Peace to you my friend.
