August 22, 1922 - March 3, 2013
Vivian Marion Tomkovicz passed away on Sunday, March 3rd, when her heart decided that dementia could no longer continue to have its way with her. She was an amazing woman of determination, loyalty, and love who made this world a better place. Vivian was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1922 and graduated from Los Angeles High School. She loved silky terriers, music, dancing, jokes, laughter, ice cream, pictures of her family, her catholic faith, Carpentaria, the beach, LA Dodgers, her friends, the color pink, Swarovski crystal, and tracksuits. Vivian raised three sons; Vincent Michael and Sue of Simi Valley, James Joseph and Nancy of Iowa City, and Steven Anthony and Tracy of Walnut Creek. She has 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Friends and Family are invited to a funeral service on March 8, 2013 at 2 pm at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill, CA. Burial Services will be held on Saturday March 9, 2013 at 1:30pm in the Mausoleum of Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
