Vivian Von hagen Obituary
A resident of Rancho Palos for the past 7 years, passed away on August 6th, just six days short of her 100th Birthday, of natural causes. A Stage Actress on Broadway from the age 12, Vivian was the original "Alice in Wonderland." Born in New York City August 12, 1902, Vivian performed on the Stage for more than 20 years, before signing a Motion Picture contract with Cecil B. De Mille to make 6 films, including, "The Sign of The Cross," in Hollywood. Married to Karl O. Von Hagen, D. for more than 60 years, she resided in Beverly Hills and Montecito. She is survived by her daughter, Vivian Thompson of Cambria; her son, Peter Karl Von Hagen of Rancho Palos Verdes, and two granddaughters: Heather Ann Wong of Fresno, and Kimberly Karen Von Hagen of Hermosa Beach. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12th, at the Santa Barbara Cemetery, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Hospice Center at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Green Hills Mortuary (310-831-0311).
