Wesley THIESSEN Obituary
May 22, 1963 – November 30, 2014
We the family, sorrowfully announce the passing of Wes on November 30, 2014 at St. Paul's Hospital while surrounded by loved ones. Wes was predeceased by his father, Peter, two days prior. Wes is survived by his incredible wife Tracy, daughters Ali and Alex (Chris), mother Irene, brothers Patrick, and Len (Jan), and his niece and nephews Clare, Jacob, and Quinn. Private interment. Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at Prairieland Park in the Terrace Room, Saskatoon from 3-6 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2014. All are welcome. If led, donations may be made in Wes' honour to Saskatoon Youth for Christ, 1338 Ave. B North, Saskatoon, SK S7L 1G5. Arrangements are in care of Funk's Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK (306-232-5245). Wes Thiessen: Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Hero, Friend.

Tracy, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I know this is late in coming but I have been hoping to see you and tell you in person. In getting to know you as my hair dresser you were so strong and so was he in this horrible fight. You never gave up hope totally . Dear Tracy and family, our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. We had the pleasure of having Wes as our accountant for many years. We looked forward to his annual visit where we dealt with not only business but had a chance to catch up with his family events as well as ours. He will be sadly missed and always remembered. Tracy and girls God bring you comfort at this time of sadness.Wes will be deeply missed by all and here at Sled Lake. He was always enjoyable to have around when we were doing things like fishing.quading golfing and the laughter he would bring when he was just around us. He loved the lake as we could all see.. When Wes worked with us as our accountant, he always came across as a friend first, and a consultant second. Over the years, we shared many stories and many laughs. We really appreciated his good advice and he had this special way of putting his hands together, palm to palm under his chin, in deep thought...and would supply us with the amazing wise thoughts and answers to questions we posed. Really going to miss seeing that SUV pull up to our front door, and Wes's lively step, arms full of banker boxes coming up to the house.
