Alvan Valdez Obituary

Alan Alberto Valdez, 32, of Billings, Montana, passed away tragically on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, following a motorcycle accident. He was surrounded by love, with his wife Veronica holding his hand.

Alan was born on September 28, 1993, in Pomona, California, to Carlos and Elsa Valdez. He grew up in Joliet, Montana, where he developed a love for the outdoors and adventure, especially camping and riding dirt bikes. Known for his determination, he never gave up no matter how many times he fell.

Alan married the love of his life, Veronica August, and together they built a home filled with laughter, faith in Jehovah God, and love. They were blessed with four children: Vence (12), Luis (8), Alan Jr. (4), and Penelope (8 months).

From age 15, Alan worked in automotive detailing and repair, earning a reputation in the Billings automotive community for his strong work ethic and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a loyal friend, quick to offer support, a laugh, or an honest word. His shop became a gathering place where friends discussed cars and life.

Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses at age 12, Alan deeply loved sharing his faith and hope for a future where God's will is done on earth and families live in peace.

Alan is survived by his wife, children, parents, Carlos and Elsa; brothers, Carlos Jr. and Miguel; and his in-laws, Scott and Ruth August.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center, 1223 Mullowney Lane, Billings, MT.
