Jack Cousins Obituary
LAURINBURG — Jack Cousins Jr., of Laurinburg, passed to his heavenly home at the age of 88 on July 14, 2024.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Ginger Cousins, of their home; children, Robert Lunsford (Cindy) of Aberdeen, and Cassie Scott (Brian) of Pinehurst; and his adored grandchildren, Alex Scott, Aaron Scott, Caleb Lunsford, Jesse Lunsford, and Lexi Lunsford. He also leaves behind his brother, Harry Evans; sisters, Maggie Lingor (John), and Virginia Colbert (Bill); along with a host of nieces, nephews; and many devoted friends, including his special friends, Johnny and Debbie Quick.
The funeral services was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Stewartsville Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Coe and Rev. Woody Byrd officiating. Burial with military honors followed in Hillside Memorial Park.
The family requests donations be given in Jack's memory to Stewartsville Baptist Church, l0401 McColl Road, Laurinburg, N.C. 28352; Scotland Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353; Humane Society of Scotland County, 1401 West Blvd, Laurinburg, NC 28352; or The Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
Services were entrusted to Richard Boles Funeral Service.
