LAUREL HILL — Lonnie Ray Patterson of Laurel Hill passed away at the age of 46.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Smithtown Church of God with burial following in the church cemetery.
Lonnie was born March 2, 1969 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, a son of Marshall Ray Patterson and Areatha Jones Patterson. He worked in electrical construction, was an avid sports fan of the UNC Tarheels and Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed playing video games, cooking on the grill and gardening. He truly loved time spent with family and especially his grandchildren.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Cynthia Reynolds Patterson of the home; daughters, Chelsea Patterson of Maxton and Stephanie Patterson of the home; parents, Marshall and Areatha Patterson of Laurel Hill; brothers, Marston Patterson and Chad Patterson, both of Laurel Hill; grandchildren, Serenity Locklear and Sampson Ray Sanderson; a nephew, Brandon Patterson and special friend, Nelson Rodriquez.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
