Angi Broekema Obituary

Angi Broekema 1941- 2006 On Saturday October 21, 2006, Angi went to be with her Lord and Savior. She battled cancer for just less than 8 years. She put up a good fight and was sure sh e could beat cancer. Angi is now safe in the arms of Jesus, no more chemo, no more pain, no more loss of hair, no more sickness, no more suffering and tears. Angi went quietly with Peace in her heart and a faint smile on her lips. Her loving family, Lori and Brenden, Larry and Allison, Judy and Bryan, John, Jace and Kristina, our one and only granddaughter; soon to be great-grandson Little Moe and Aaron; and brother Joe will forever miss her. Angi was born in Holland on July 3, 1941 to Jan and Cora Feringa and came to the U.S. in 1951. She married Morrie Broekema on August 29, 1958. Her loving husband of 48 years, her family and along with our families and many, many friends will miss her deeply. Viewing will be Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00pm at Cypress Forest Lawn. Memorial Service at Bethany Christian Refomed Church, 17054 Bixby Ave., Bellflower, CA 90706, lunch following.
