Dale Manos Obituary

Dale Manos

A country boy at heart, born in Gravette, Arkansas on October 15, 1928, Dale went home to be with our Lord on November 7, 2012. He served our country as a Navy pilot. A graduate of UCLA, his career was in the aerospace industry where he met his wife, Mary. His life passion was the game of bridge where he achieved Grand Life Master. A quiet, gentle man who enjoyed the simple things in life...spending his vacations boating and camping with family and friends. His latter years were spent traveling the world with his beloved wife of 45 years. Survived by his wife, Mary; four children and their spouses, Steve (Brenda), Paul (Vikki), Michelle (Jim), Mindy (Ken); eleven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Memorial Service will be held on November 30, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Bayshore Community Church located at 5100 The Toledo, Long Beach. Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obituaries.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember as a child visiting Uncle Dale and playing with my cousins. Uncle Dale was always so jovial and fun. He will be missed. Our prayers are with the family. Love Chris

Mary and family, We were so sad to hear about Dale's passing and so very thankful that we had the wonderful time with you and Dale, and Mindy, Ken and children in Mammoth last August. We had such fun and a great visit. Dale was a wonderful man, husband and father, and we know how very much he was treasured and will be missed. Our love to all of your family. Love, Sally and Paul
