Mr. Benger was my PE teacher at Tetzlaff and I was one of his PE assistants for semester. He encouraged my pursuit of sports and helped me achieve one of the highest accomplishments a young man could attain at Tetzlaff; earning a pair of gold trunks. He also encouraged me to be study and to never to be afraid to ask questions. I was fortunate to know Mr. Benger. God bless you Mr. Benger.

Dear Carol and Family, I was so sorry to learn of Dan's passing. I was Dean of Pepperdine Law School when Dan was there. I am pleased to note that he pursued his law practive for an extended period of time. It is apparent from his obituary that he lived a full and exemplary life, and I am glad for that. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Unfortunately, I do not have your address or contact information. Perhaps you will send that to me at [email protected]. God bless you,
Ron

Dan was one of the funniet people I ever met. Not to mention his incredible intellect. He had a tremendous work ethic, what a role model as an attorney, friend, father and coach. He was beloved by many for his ability to relate to anyone and make them feel special. And of course he loved to root for the little guy, he had a strong sense of justice and duty. I will miss his special laugh, which when you heard it you had to laugh with him. I will miss his friendship and counsel. The heavens have added a star with our loss of Dan Benger. Tim Rush
