Evonne Atwater Obituary

Evonne V. (Bonnie) Atwater 1925-2008 Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend Bonnie Atwater passed away peacefully on June 10, 2008 after a long illness. She was born on November 18, 1925 in Ormsby Village, MN, the youngest of six children. The family moved to Long Beach, CA in the 1930's and she had been a Long Beach resident ever since. Bonnie was a beautiful, kind and loving person who brought joy, laughter and love to all that knew her. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. She will be deeply missed. Evonne is predeceased by son, Robert Harris Atwater and grandson, Bobby Hunt who loved her "as big as the sky". She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George (Bud) Atwater; daughters: Ellen (James) Fulkerson, Marianne Garg and Laura Nye; grandchildren, Jimmy (Roxanne) Hunt, Jerry Fulkerson and Juli Gary; and great grandchil dren, Tyler, Raenna and Brittney. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the charity of your choice. Private service and burial at sea. Go with God, Mom. We love you oceans always... Bud, Laura and family,
We all were so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Dad really treasured Bonnie's friendship. So sorry for your loss.
