Nony was a great man. My father, Bill Seal, loved him like a brother. They had a great deal of fun together (with Forest Foster) growing up on Mira Mar here in LB. My Dad has told me many wonderful (dare devil) stories about the three of them. Nony was very proud to have saved my Dad's life a couple of times and told me so every time I got my eyes checked. Thank God for Nony! The Seal family is heart-broken by the news of Nony's passing. His legacy lives on through his truly brilliant and amazing children. We are thinking of all of you and your dear mother, Nancy.

My sincere condolences to the Hertzog family. Dr. Hertzog was my family's eye doctor since the very early 1960's. I will always remember as a very young child his Rolls Royce that he let me sit in by his office. Very exciting as I have always been a car buff! Dr. Hertzog was an icon. Rest in Peace to a leader of his time.
