John was my brother-in-law but he was much more than that to me. He was like a Brother, Father, and he was a friend. He watched out for me after Elliott passed. I will ALWAYS miss him!!!

Judy, Jon, Jason and Family,
I became friends with Jon in the 80's when I first moved to Long Beach, and in turn I got to know his family. My first recollection of John, (Mr. von Arx) is that I thought he was a pretty cool guy and over the years I realized he really was He will be missed.
All we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared over the years of those who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds. Cherish those memories and keep them close.
My condolences.
