Dear Max,
I will always remember you as the empathetic friend you have been all of those years since we met for the first time. Knowing that trees will be growing somewhere in America in remembrance of you fills my heart with warmth. I will continue to send wishes from my soul to yours that will connect us forever. Thank you for all the friendship you and Mary have given me.

Max Ruhe in Frieden. Peter

Dear Opa, visiting CA will not be the same without you. Thank you for so many cherished childhood memories; camping, hiking, fishing, looking for ghosts on the Queen Mary, swimming, sailing, tons of games of Life, reading me books, hiding Easter eggs over and over and over again.... I love you, and I didn´t want you to go...I hope you are in a better place now, safe and happy and pain free with loved ones waiting patiently for the rest of us.
