Mina Aray Boone

BOONE, Mina Aray, age 99 of Chapel Hill, North Carolina died Tuesday, October 15, 2002. Mina Boone formerly of Long Beach California was the wife of deceased Arthur Boone of L.B. Mina was a retired teacher from Santa Barbara, CA and a volunteer of 25 years at Memorial Hospital, L.B., CA. She was an active PEO for almost 60 years. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Jacobs of Fayestteville, North Carolina, her grandd aughters; Jan Stevens of Snellvile, Georgia and Julie Taylor of Durham, North Carolina; great granddaughter, Heather Palmer of Snellville, Georgia and her nephew, Jack Ross of Torrance, CA. She will be intered in CA next to her loving husband, Arthur Boone at Forest Lawn Cypress in L.B., CA on November 2, 2002 at 2:30 PM. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Mina Boone Memorial Fund at MacPherson Presbyterian Church in Fayestteville, North Carolina.
