Molly Scheenstra Obituary

Molly Rae Scheenstra 1941 - 2008 Molly Scheenstra passed away May 17, 2008. She was born on May 9th, 1941, to the parents of Ed and Velva Gay Dougherty, in Spokane, Washington. Molly grew up in the Seattle area and moved to Southern California when she was 22. She married Gerrit Scheenstra and had two children, Debra and Eric. Molly attended U.C.L.A. and received her degree in Political Science on September 21, 1984. She is survived by her brother, Jack Dougherty; her sisters, Sally Phillips and Marcy Wearmouth, Gerrit Scheenstra; her daughter and son, Debra Scheenstra and Eric Scheenstra; and her grandch ildren, Fryslan and Faith Scheenstra. She will be lovingly and fondly remembered for all the wonderful experiences she shared with her family and friends, most especially her love of skiing, music and writing poetry. God has blessed and touched us with his love, through our Mom, Molly (Molly Mom).
