Patricia Donaghue Obituary

July 6, 1926 - November 20, 2021 Patricia Faye Donaghue passed away on November 20, 2021, in Lakewood, California. She was born on July 6, 1926, in Los Angeles, California, to Ormond and Myrtle Reynolds. She graduated from San Fernando High School. She was a long-time Lakewood resident, moving there in 1950. She worked for the Bellflower Unified School District for 27 years as a school secretary at Betsy Ross and Stephen Foster elementary schools, and at Mayfair High School as a textbook clerk. After retiring from the school district, she volunteered with OASIS, a senior activities organization, for 20 years. She married John Nunnally in 1950 and raised two children. She later married Jack Donaghue in 1987. She loved gardening, handicrafts, painting, fishing, traveling, and dancing. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakewood 3rd Ward. She is survived by her children, Ronald Nunnally and Kathy Goodlad, her sister Arlene Maxwell, sister-in-law Bee Reynolds, 15 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 17660 Carpintero Avenue, Bellflower. There will be a viewing at 10:00 a.m. prior to the memorial service. Interment will be at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier.
