For some reason Paul popped into my head and I found this after a Google search. I went to school with Paul III and spent many days running around the dairy playing in the outbuildings and barns. We used to sneak fruit punch and chocolate milk from the storeroom at the drive thru during the days and had a great time. Paul Jr was a great big guy with an even bigger heart. My parents ran a food booth every year at the St Pancratius school fair and Paul would donate the beef and dairy products to make everything run smooth. Those were some fun times and I'll always remember the Lussman family. After we graduated and all went in different directions, I lost track of these folks. Sorry to hear of both Ann and Paul's passing but so very glad to have known them growing up.

Thanks for the good memories and morning smells. All natural. We use to ride our bikes to get milk as part of our chores. To all the Lussman klan, Thank you and God Bless for giving us a little access to rural life.

I was very sorry to hear about Paul. My condolances to his children and family. I met Paul through Ann. She and I worked together at the telephone company. We became very good friends. In fact, I was in their wedding. Ann and I kept in touch after we left the telephone company. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I remember many days of driving through to get milk with my parents in our station wagon with all the kids piled in. I also remember the school tour of the dairy.
It was the place to get fire wood on your way to the desert.

I recall teasing Paul about “weed free fertilizer” for sale at the drive in.
“Weed free?” I asked “How can you be certain there are no weeds?”
“Oh!” says Paul, “Weed Free doesn’t mean no weeds, it means any weeds that maybe be in the fertilizer are free”
Such a good and generous man.
May God Welcome him home with the words “well done good and faithful servant”
