Stuart Colson Obituary

Stuart Manley Colson Stuart Manley Colson 78, of Mukilteo, Washington, died March 30, 2004 at his home. He was born in Long Beach, California on November 30, 1925. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific from 1943 until 1946. Following the war, Stuart returned to the Long Beach area where he began his engineering career for MacDonald Douglas in 1954. He came to Seattle in 1978 to work for Boeing, retiring in 1996. Stuart was devoted to his church and taught Sunday school for many years. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed NASCAR racing. Stuart leaves his beloved wife of 52 years, Deloria; a son Randy and wife Elaine of Seabeck; and their children, Ron, Ben, Mieka, Matthew, Paige and Randall Jr.; daughter, Janice Rainey and husband Robert of Long Beach, California and their children, Pierce, Kallen and Chasen; and daughter Mary Thomson and husband Alan of Laguna Beach, California; and their children Rachel , Alana, and Stuart; also survived by 4 great-grandchildren Rowen, Owen, Daniel and Lucas. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at 1:00 at Cascade View Presbyterian Church, 1030 East Casino Road, Everett. Private Interment at Miller-Woodlawn Cemetery, Bremerton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Cascade View Presbyterian Church. Arrangements Beck's Funeral Home, Edmonds (425) 771-1234
