Thelma Gutierrez Obituary

In Loving Memory of Mrs. Thelma Formilleza Gutierrez Thelma Formilleza Gutierrez, 83 of Long Beach, CA and formerly of Cortland, NY passed away, Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Lakewood, CA. She was born May 14, 1927 in the Philippines. Prior to moving to Cortland, NY, she was an enforcement section chief of the Philippine Food and Drug Administration. While in upstate NY, she worked at the Gibbs Medical Center and Syracuse Community Health Center. She retired from Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. Thelma was a member of St. Mary's, St. Anthony's and St. Pancratius Catholic Churchs. She is survived by her husband, Herminio; sons, Herman (Lola) Gutierrez of Norwalk, CA, Rene Gutierrez of Los Alamitos, CA, Dr. David (Loyce) Gutierrez of Apple Valley, CA, Glen (Melissa) Gutierrez of Cortland, NY and Neil (Sharon) Gutierrez of Pleasanton, CA; daughter, Gina Rawson of Long Beach, CA; and fifteen grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 07, 2011 from 3-8 p.m. with a Vigil at 6:30 p.m. at All Souls Mortuary Chapel, Long Beach, CA. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011, also at All Souls Mortuary, 4400 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90807. Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery.
