Bob Abbott Obituary
He is survived by his wife Libby of the family home; one son Edward J. Vent and wife Maria of Las Cruces; three daughters, Sandy Ostic and husband Edmund of Las Cruces; Susan Ponds and husband Ric of Phoenix, AZ; and Joyce Guthrie of Las Cruces. Also surviving Bob is his brother Tom Abbott of El Paso, TX; his Aunt Reubene Scott of Aledo, TX; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. One son, Bob Edd Abbott, preceded him in death.
At Bob's request, cremation has taken place and a Graveside Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Civil Air Patrol Chaplain Lt. Col. Charles Moorer.
