To the Chavez Family:
I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your recent loss. Ricky was an awesome violist and truly loved life. He was so much fun to be around and is sense of humor was unlike any other. I only knew Ricky from afar and talked to him on occassion, but the times I did talk to him, he surely made me feel like I was his dearest friend. Just remember him for all he was and know that he did everything he was supposed to; he brought joy and fulfillment to so many, which is truly a noble legacy. You should be so proud of the fine young man he was and moreover the fine human being he was. He will forever live on in our hearts and memories. Again, my deepest sympathies in the time of great devastation.
Sincerely,
Erik Maese

Dearest Isela, Celso, Antonio, & Lorenzo,

It is with such great sorrow that we offer our condolences for the loss of your precious son and brother. Your grief must be so immense, that our words cannot sufficiently soothe your hearts; however, we pray that God will put his loving arms around each of you and give you the solace that only He can give. Isela, please know that you and your entire family are very dear to our hearts! You and your family were a very strong source of support during our unexpected loss. It is with that same devotion of friendship that we extend ourselves to you during this difficult time. No matter what time of day or night, if we can be of any assistance to you please know that you can call upon us.

We will continue to lift your entire family in prayer that all your memories are preserved, and that they are a source of comfort for you when you need it most! Although Ricky was a young man, you can all be proud of his legacy--as you will continually learn of the profound impact Ricky had on those with whom he came in contact. Ricky remains such a positive force that touched so many people, always cheerful and optimistic--he was a fine young man!

With our sincerest love & sympathy,
