Oh my gosh, WHAT fond, fun memories I have of both your mom and your dad! Working at the soda fountain at Baker Drug was my first paying job, and I can't think of a better place for a kid to spend a summer--what great people to be around all day (never mind Dave's secret stash of cards!). Besides being one of the driest, wittiest people I have ever known, Dave Hover was gentle, generous, honest and fair. It's been many years since I last saw him, but we still tell stories on him--rest assured, his and Pat's spirits will live on and on!
My love and best thoughts...
