At Don's request cremation will take place and a Celebrate of Life Service will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 14, 2011 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road Las Cruces. Don was a very close friend with myself and my cousin Johnnie. We grew up together. I remember the two of them always practicing their band music downstairs of Don's house which was a great pleaure for me to watch. Also remember Don was a great artist in high school. He has and always will be in my thoughts. God Bless ...

Richard & Deb, and extended Sandoval family: We were truly saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was so very young. We will always have fond memories of Don and his band growing up in North Platte. Our hearts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time.

A long time ago (the 60's) were spent with tons of rockin' and boppin'. Donny always had a good band and was a great singer. North Platte had quite a few talented bands in those days and hanging out with them was full of great memories and fun. I've thought of you in those many years past with a smile on my face. Thanks Don for being you. I'm sure you've continued with your easy going ways and have blessed many in your path. May God's grace pour out on you and yours at this time of our grief. Bob
