James Schiek Obituary
He was full of adventure and passion, he loved the outdoors and fishing. James loved sports, of all kinds, but hockey was his game (Detroit Red Wings) and football (Minnesota Vikings). He was a very unique person with extreme intelligence. He worked hard and played hard. He was a good hearted man that will be missed by all who knew him.
James is preceded in death by both parents and sister, Julie. He is survived by his wife Gail Schiek, stepchildren Jason, Randi, Garron and Hayley. The apple of his eye, Kyley. Also surviving him are his brother Tom and sister Jacki.
A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel.

It has been 5 years and James is still very much in close in thoughts . James was such a driving force with anyone the he was close to. His skill, his approach, his determination, his willingness to figure it out, to overcome challenges. James is still a very close memory, not so distant thought, he is missed.

My heart hurts tonight after learning of Jims passing. I have great high school memories of Jim and how he befriended me as a sophomore. I looked up to him because he was older and truely a great guy! I have prayed and will continue to pray for Gods peace to Blanket his wife and Jackie (sister) during this time of loss!

My cousin Jim, I didn't know you as an adult but you were so very dear to me from the day you were born. I will always have loving, happy memories of you as a sweet baby and little boy. My heartfelt condolences go out to Jacki, Gail, and all of your family and friends.

Dimar Systems has suffered a great loss. James was our fire sprinkler Department Manager. His shoes will be very hard to fill. We miss him and wish for eternal light to shine upon him.
