Maria Costales

Maria Urbina Costales, 96, of Las Cruces died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born to Lino and Nieves Urbina in Durango, Mexico on August 2, 1915. Maria enjoyed making quilts, cooking for family and friends and loved going to church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Maria is survived by her sons Jaime Ibarra of El Paso, TX, Marciano and Margarito Ibarra of Las Cruces, NM, Max and Thomas Ibarra of Santa Paula, CA; her daughters Sofia Mendiola of Las Cruces, NM, and Paulba Baron and Tina Ozuna of El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, Lino and Nieves Urbina. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Getz Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. that the First Apostolic Church followed by burial at Masonic Cemetery.
