Michelle was a great friend and co-worker that I had the pleasure of knowing! We created many memories to cherish in the short 3-4 years that I had of knowning her. She will always be remembered and in my heart. She was a fighter til the end! She will be dearly missed.

Michelle was a true inspiration to me. She was strong and always cracking jokes no matter how bad she felt. Her parents and I have unfortunately and unwillingly joined a club that no one should have to be a member of. May our children be in peace in the light of God's eternal dwelling place.

Too soon the light that was Michelle has been extinguished on this earth. May her family and loved ones know that heaven is now a finer place to dwell since her arrival.
Heartfelt thoughts and prayers to those close to her...

Michelle was the daughter of my dearest, life long friend. I always told everyone that Michelle was the daughter I never had. I was able to share many moments with her during her short life and by doing so, came to realize she grew up to be a beautiful woman who only wanted good things for her son and family. She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job more than most of us. She was appreciative of all the things her parents were able to do for her and showed her gratitude in countless ways. Her son was her life. Being a single parent is so very hard. Michelle faced her responsiblities as a Mom much better than most. Besides being my 'pretend' daughter, she was a dear dear friend. Her passing is causing a sorrow in my heart I've never known before. I know Heaven will be a better place with her in it, it's just that this world will never be the same with her gone. Good-bye my darling, my Phoenix, I just wish I could hold you in my arms one more time. You will never be forgotten....Aunt Sue

I'm a long-time patient of Dr. Carlos Cadena and readily remember Michelle's professionalism, friendliness, and her smile and easy laughter. I hadn't seen her at Dr. Cadena's for quite some time and now I know why. May she rest in peace.

My family and I will miss Michelle tremendously. We really enjoyed having her as our neighbor. She was kind, optimistic, and was always concerned about my family's well-being, even though she was facing a battle of her own. Our thoughts and prayers to the family at this time. We will always remember her kindness and try to emulate that with those we meet.

It is with great sadness that I send my condolences to the family. I had the pleasure to work with Michelle at Dr. Cadena's office. I was fortunate enough to know such a loving and caring person. She is my second good friend that I have lost to cancer. I will always remember her and the time that I got to spend with her and Lisa on New Year's Eve 2007 to bring in the new year 2008. Michelle will truely be missed and I was truely blessed to know Michelle. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
God Bless.
