Minnie Sealock Obituary

Minnie L. Sealock, 87, of Las Cruces entered eternal life Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at La Posada-Mesilla Valley Hospice. She was born April 25, 1927, in El Paso, Texas, to Salvador and Lydia Zamora Lucero. Minnie worked as a cook at Dick's Cafe for many years.
Survivors include five sisters, Maria Mata of Phoenix, Angie Wilson and husband, Eddie, Lupe Ortega, Emilia Lopez and Anita Jaquez, all of Las Cruces; three brothers, Louie Alatorre and wife, Celia, of Albuquerque, Juan Alatorre of Phoenix, and David Alatorre of Las Cruces; as well as a many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Calling hours for Minnie will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, in Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road, with the funeral service scheduled for 10 a.m., with the Rev. Gabriel Solis officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho, where she will be laid to rest.
