Noel L. Brown Obituary
She is survived by her parents, Dr. M.E. and Ruth Brown, of the family home; sister, Dr. Joy Brown-Caballero, and husband, Ruben, and their son, Luis Miguel Caballero, of San Jose, Calif. Preceding her in death were her two sisters, Faith and Hope; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Virginia Brown, and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Marian Blasczyk.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral services to celebrate her life are at 10 a.m. on Thursday; May 7, 2009, also at Getz Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Morrison of Grace Bible Church and the Rev. Joseph Blasczyk of Hoyne Avenue Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideon's, P.O. Box 3217, Las Cruces, N.M. 88003.

Dear Doc. and Ruth, my deepest condolences for the loss of Noel, I still remember when you brought her and Ruth up to the T or C office when she was about 3 months old, then didn't get to see her again untill she was about 14 years old, I know the pain is still horrible, but with the help of the lord, all the memories will be of a happy little girl. I will keep you in my nightly prayers.

I did not know Noel, but i would like to keep her in my prayers. She was young, but the lord accepted her into his kingdom. I keep her parents in my prayers as well. I can't imagine. I don't know this family, but i can say that i love you, and i will keep you in my prayers.

Noel and I were apart of the First Baptist Church youth family and she is one that will never be forgotten. She was an amazing person and she will truly be missed. Her smile was one that I could never forget. She was always smiling! She is now up in heaven with our Lord and Savior and may God be with her family during their time of grief. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends.

My son Nathan graduated with and knew Noel. When she'd call him, I referred to her as the Christmas girl and we'd sing the song and giggle. How tragic is this incident and with a heavy heart at your loss, Nathan and I send our condolences.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Noel was such a beautiful and happy girl. She helped to become who I am today. She taught me about life, and how you have to live it to the fullest. Noel lived everyday like it could be the last, with no regrets. I loved her like a sister and I miss her terribly. I'm going to miss her and Baby(I'm the one who gave her baby) stopping by to visit. Her smile and laugh will be in my memories forever.

Calvin and I are so sorry for your loss. Noel and I shared many fun memories in high school and playing volleyball. She was the perfect "Secret Sister" as a Freshman and I a Senior. It was great to see all of you in October and to share my wedding pictures with Noel. I only wish I would have spent more time with her now. She was a beautiful and spirited young lady. im sorry for your loss. Noel was a great girl. I went to high school with her. I alsways remember her with a smile on her face. She always was kind and giving. I have many memories from high school with her. Many dances, football games, and just school days were a joy with your daughter. She had a bright and beautiful personality. No one can imagine the pain of losing a child. It has been a while and when I heard the news, it didn't register. I remember how much your lives revolved around Noel. She always made me smile when I was in the office and she would come in. I think the last time I saw her she had just gotten her learning permit. How time flies. May you feel God's love wrapped around you both and bring you strength to get through this tragic loss.

Noel was a special person to my wife and me. When she would walk into the "Attic" on Sunday nights the whole room lit up. She was so very sweet and giving, we enjoyed knowing her so much. We know that she will be missed greatly by her family and her family at First Baptist. May God be with all whole knew her and loved her as we did.

Noel & I shared many memories over the years. We went to school together for years, went to church together, and cheered together. Especially during our time cheering we became very close & i treasured our friendship. She was such a sweet girl, almost always with a smile on her face. The happiness that Noel had in her eyes was indescribable and now it can only be remembered. Having Noel as a friend is something that no one can ever replace because her friendship was one of a kind! Her loss is sad and painful but she is in a better place and we will all reunite one day!
