The the Guffey Family, Please accept my sincere condolences as you mourn the loss of Pad. I remember Pad as a little boy, when Donnie & I had Dona Ana Diesel. He was always such an energetic boy - so full of mischief and always so happy! I know he will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. May God comfort at this time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Words alone are not enough to bring comfort. It's so hard to accept that he' s gone. Pad had to be an excellent father and son because he learned from you kindness and compassion. I know your pain is very private. The memories you have of him will be a gift for years to come. I can't begin to imagine loosing him in the best time in his life.His life was far too short. I know this is an odd request, but if you ever need to talk...please call me at 325-518-3727. If you need anything, please call at any time. Sleep will be hard to manage..please give me a call at any time. He was a beautiful son and I would love to know him from your heart. My heartfelt condolences to the Guffey Family. I am a geologist and had the pleasure to work with Pad and his dad, Mike, many years ago. Back then, Pad was cook for the rig. Mike was slowly bringing him up to speed. He was one heck of a cook and he and his dad were as fine people as I have ever met. When Mike passed suddenly, Pad showed his strength of character by stepping up and taking over the business. There was some question that he could do it, but he silenced all doubt. He was an inspiration. We stayed in touch occasionally through the years, but I never had the pleasure to work with him again. One heck of a good fellow. A loss for all of us. I will never forget him. My heart goes out to his family.

In addition to working with Pad and Mike on farm well issues, I knew them from an aviation side also. Great people along with their families. Pad and I recently discussed his new truck and how proud of it he was when we worked out at Primetime.

I had the pleasure of knowing Padraic several years ago while overseeing several major well projects at WSMR. The quality of his work far exceeded that which was expected.
