Ray Mirabal Obituary

The family of Ray Mirabal, 54, born August 11, 1955 in Fresno, California, wishes to announce the death of their father, brother, cousin and friend on Friday, September 11, 2009. Ray was a friend to all and his friendly personality was infectious and will be remembered. Ray grew up in El Paso until his parents moved back to Las Cruces where he attended Las Cruces schools.

Ray's parents, Frank and Bessie Mirabal Enriquez preceded him in death. He is survived by his three children, Loretta, Christopher and Amanda; two brothers, Frank and Pat; two sisters, Loretta and Rosella; and many close cousins from the Mirabal, Howard, Lucero, Griego, Rivera, Montoya and Franco families.

The family chose cremation and wishes to have a memorial service this Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the VFW hall, 2001 N. Mesquite at 4 p.m. All friends and family wishing to attend will be welcomed.

Mirabal family, I am very saddened to hear of Ray's passing. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to you during your time of grief.

Pat & Mirabal family, My condolences and prayers.
My twin brother Ruben and younger brother Ronnie grew up with Ray in Las Cruces. We were next door neighbors. We experienced many happy youthful times. Memories are forever. I remember Ray always caring and looking out for us since he was a couple years.
