Ross Jerry Patron

ROSS JERRY PATRON, 41, of Las Cruces entered eternal life Saturday, June 13, 2009 at his home. He was born July 4, 1967 in Pueblo, Colorado to Peter Jerry Patron and Merejilda Segura. Ross was an avid student at NMSU and was a budding artist. His artwork was a very special part of his life. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. Ross never failed to lend a hand, shoulder or contagious smile even during his health hardships.

Survivors include his mother, Merejilda Segura Ellis; his stepmother, Ruth Patron; three brothers, Peter Anthony Mims and wife Aurora, Simon Gabriel Jones and Adam Patron; a sister, Christine Trevino and husband Richard. Other survivors include nieces, Lea Cathleen and Shannon Nicole Patron, Belle and Victoria Ruth Trevino; nephews, Peter Douglas Patron, Richard Carlos and Benjamin Trevino as well as numerous aunts, uncles, Cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal and paternal grandparents.

At his request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 5 PM in Heart for the World Vineyard Church, 1605 S. Valley Drive with Pastor Dale Walker officiating. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.

Special thanks to his caregiver, Mary Ann Barrientos. Ross will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
