Hi Mrs. Hanssen,
It is difficult to take in that Stan has passed on. I hope you can take strength from his memory in the difficult times ahead. I did not relalise you were only living in Ireland for 13 years, it fealt like a lifetime. I got to know you all so well. I was so glad to see you all looking so well on your last visit here with all the family. Stan was still very much playing centre stage. Our family and many others here in Sligo send our deepest sympathy and be assured our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dearest Hanssen Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Hanssen's passing. He was bigger than life. From the very first day that I met him at Metro, we became fast friends. He was such a genius and taught me so much. He loved his family so much and talked of them with passion. I lived through his love of travel and his zest for life. He will be sorely missed by all that he touched. He is gone but not to be forgotten!!! God Bless your entire family and may peace be yours.

Mrs. Hanssen, Eric, Debbie-
We extend our sincerest condolences to your family at the passing of "Mr. Hanssen." I have such fond memories of working with him, laughing with him, and being hosted to some of the nicest dinners while traveling in Chicago to the International Housewares Show!
Before one of his many trips, this one to France, I asked him to bring me back the Eiffel Tower. Several weeks later he came into my office with a souvenir Eiffel Tower--I still have it here on my computer desk and I always think of him fondly when I see it!
I so enjoyed the time I got to work with him. I always thought he was one of the kindest and most generous people I've ever worked with. I was so saddened to read of his passing but remain inspired by his enthusiastic spirit and great love of life! Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us!
