I did not know Dave Arnold, and I never met him. However, I admired him as District Attorney of Lebanon County (where I have resided and worked since 2002) and never heard anyone make a disparaging comment about him. Our politics put us on different sides of the fence, but that did not lessen my admiration for him; especially now that I know when he ran for the Senate Seat, he did so not knowing what trials the future held for him. I guess he persisted in his dream. There are no words which will bring comfort to his family at this time, but I am glad for them that they will know they loved a man who lived his life in service to others; and that is indeed the greatest calling a person can have. May he rest in peace, may his family find peace.
