Donald Felty Obituary
Jonestown
Donald E. Felty, 71, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg. He was the husband of Phyllis P. Kimmel Felty. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on February 16th.
Born in Lebanon on February 16, 1944, he was the son of the late Gershom "Ed" and Catherine Saner Felty.
Donald retired from Ironworkers Local 404, Harrisburg, where he had worked in construction. At one time he had served as the Fire Chief of the Neversink Fire Co., Lebanon.
He especially enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Donald E., husband of Joyce Felty of Cross Fork, Douglas E. Felty and his partner, Ray Dalton of Columbus and Daniel E., husband of Jamie Felty of Ono; daughters, Donna Felty and her fiancé, Brian Gilson of Lebanon, Darlene J. Reigle of Lebanon and Danielle J. Felty of Jonestown; sister, Florence Tashima of Lebanon; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Felty and a sister, Phyllis Felty.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Chapel Cemetery, Green Point.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.

I enjoyed having Mr. Felty in my life for the 7 years that I known him for I am Dougs partner and friend. His family has been a blessing to me and I love them all... prayers and thoughts are out to them and hoping they can move forward and remember that their father is now in heaven and in no more pain.
