We are still loving and missing you....
January 25, 2019
Flossie and Charlie were neighbors of my parents. They were so welcoming and kind to my family. Flossie was especially kind to my daughter when she was young. Flossie always spoke fondly of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and enjoyed caring for them. She was very sweet, and I am so sorry for your loss. My heartfelt condolences.

My deepest condolences on your loss.
I hope you don't mind my sharing:
Aunt Flossie was a beautifully unique and compassionate woman, who was a reflection of what God intended us to be. She was kind, loving and faithful.
I remember visiting her and Uncle Charlie as a young child and have some of my earliest memories of them both. Over my lifetime, I have a collection of memories... the very best kind.
When my Grandmother went home to be with God, it was hard not to see Aunt Flossie as somewhat of a surrogate.... she and my Grandma were best of friends (and married to brothers). I really looked up to her.... always.
I'll never forget Aunt Flossie's laugh...The way her nose crinkled when she did so... Her hair... her smile... the brightness of her eyes... the beauty of her soul... the elegant woman she was, all without trying. It was natural...she was a true lady.
I recall our visits, phone calls and long conversations in the living room: about Uncle Charlie, the 40's and war time, my Grandparents, My Mother, what it was like to date and fall in love back in the day, how times had changed...and so much of our Raiger family history.
We shared our sadness over our greatest loss, and what faith meant (to never question God's plan).
She was so much more than a Great Aunt. She was a friend.
She was a true blessing.
Rest In Peace... we will meet again.

Flossie, I will miss you so much! You were one of my favorite people, and a genuine, loving, true reflection of Christ.
My sincere sympathies and prayers to the family at this time and in the coming days. You brought love and joy to her every day, and I feel like I know most of you through her sharing those joys. Her love and memories live on. We will meet again one day.
Much love,
Beth
