There are a lot of people in this world, that when you meet them one time....you like them. Gary was one of those type of people... Gary was a long time neighbor, and I got to know him through his sister Wendy. We used to hang out at the Trautman home a lot. It was always a warm, and welcoming place to be. Gary sang in our church choir, and on occasion, he and I would sing a duet together. He had a voice to be reckoned with, and had beautiful tones. We had a lot of good times, and good conversations. When I stopped off to his last place he lived, he just sat and cried. He was always so giving of a person, I should have gone to see him way before that, but he was just so happy to see me. He kept saying Mickey I can't believe you came. He talked about his sisters, and music, and the choir. I know he had a great faith in God.... and I am so sure that Gary is a member of the Heavenly chorus. This world lost a great guy.... but God will welcome him home....

Dear Eileen, Brenda and Wendy: my love and prayers to all of you at this difficult time. Gary was always so happy and loved to laugh, which in turn brought joy to all those around him. It is said that gratitude brings you happiness, and Gary was a shining example of this. He was so thankful for everything given to him, visits, cards, care. He had truly suffered these last years, but is now singing and laughing with the Angel's. We will be with him again. Until that time, we have happy memories.

Eileen, Wendy, and Brenda: I only knew Gary for a short time (4 years) but he always made me smile when I was down in spirit. He was a wonderful. kind person and he will be greatly missed. It was a joy knowing him. He was so appreciative of everyone and everything that was done for him. He was a great human being. Know that he will be looking after all of you even though he is not present physically he is with you in spirit. Remember all the good times that you had with him. I am honored to call Gary a friend.
