Grant Conrad Obituary

MYERSTOWN Grant W. Conrad, 20, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at his home. Born in Kirkwood, on January 5, 1992, he was the son of Rick A. Conrad of Rehrersburg and Sara J. Cole Bordner, wife of Richard L. Bordner of Myerstown. He was very active and enjoyed the outdoors and hiking the Appalachian Trail with his friends. He especially enjoyed playing the piano. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Benjamin Andrew Conrad at home; his sister, Abigail J. Conrad of Lebanon; maternal grandparents, David and Mary Jane Cole of Emmaus; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Irene Conrad of Colonial Beach, Va. A Memorial Service to celebrate Grant's life will be held on Saturday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at the Gingrichs Mennonite Church, 100 Forney Road, Lebanon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and also following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Hebron, 957 Camp Hebron Road, Halifax, PA 17032.
