Mrs. Light was my biology, physics and chemistry teacher at Jonestown H.S. She inspired me to continue my education in science, and I received B.S.,M.S.and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from LVC and the U.of Nebraska. I worked for masonry contractor George Boland during the summers of 1952 and 1956, and during one of those summers I helped to plaster hers and Wilmer's new house south of Jonestown. I remember that both Wilmer and his dad were large men with big hands. I am sorry to hear of her death. Age 79 is too young to pass on.

I was greatly saddened to learn of Mrs's Light's passing. Fond memories and the knowledge she imparted to her Science and Biology students at Jonestown High School have remained with me through the years. My thoughts and prayers go out to her beloved family at this very difficult time.

My condolences to the family. It is with fondness that I recall Mrs. Light's Science Class at Annville-Cleona High School. She also directed our class play in 1957. Her spirit is now among those of many former teachers still in "residence" in the old Greystone Building.
