John Adams Obituary

JONESTOWN John J. Adams, 57, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Monday, September 19, 2011, at his residence. Born in Lebanon, on September 21, 1953, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Lois Bricker Adams. He is survived by his brothers, Nicholas, husband of Barbara Adams of Lebanon, Joseph Adams of Myerstown, and Robert, husband of Patricia Adams of Myerstown; sisters, Ann Cool of Texas, and Lois, wife of Michael Smith, and Deb Pruitt, both of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. I knew John for over 40 years and he was definitely my best friend. If you ever needed help he was there no questions asked. Friendship doesn't get any better. There's no one who was more loyal and giving. I miss him too.

John, one of the best friends a person could have. He had a heart as big as Texas, and would do anything for anybody. I am missing him dearly. Your painful days here on earth are over....praying you are at your happiest with your dear family who left before you.
