John Worm Obituary

John Worm, Jr. GRANTVILLE John Worm, Jr., 80, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born December 7, 1929, in Chalfont, he was a son of the late John R. and Bertha (Mayer) Worm. He retired from Milton Hershey School and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Grantville, Shellsville VFW #9639, Grantville Volunteer Fire Company, and was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Grace R. (Seaman) Worm; children, Susan E., wife of Phap Tran, Sally A. Worm, John A., husband of Donna Worm, and Michael E. Worm, all of Grantville; sister, Emily Rims of Doylestown; and grandchildren, Amy Tran Swensen and husband, Mark, Katy B. Tran, Audrey E. Worm, and Josiah R. Worm. Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 10310 Jonestown Road, Grantville. A picnic reception will follow at the farm. Please bring lawn chairs. Private interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Church Street Station, P.O. Box 780, New York, NY, 10008. Condolences may be shared at BuseFuneralHome.com

I remember John and his wife from a doctors office I worked at and what a sweet soul he was. He was always in good spirits no matter what! Rest in peace John and Grace my prayers are with you.
