Joseph C. Schubert, Sr., 75, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Catherine L. (Swoyer) Schubert. Born in Lebanon, on June 14, 1941, Joseph was a son of the late Joseph and Martha (Zimmerman) Schubert. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Lebanon and worked for many years as an inspector for Quaker Alloy Steel Foundry. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed playing cards. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Joseph C. Schubert, Jr., husband of Elisa, and Catherine M. Zehring, wife of Jerry; also three grandchildren, Terry, Kelsey, and Joseph.
Graveside service will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at our online guest book at
