Marianne Schubert, 67 of Naples FL, passed away March 8, 2026, after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.
Marianne is survived by her mom Ann Easparro her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Bob Dow, her partner Christian Kasper, her nephews and nieces, Ryan & Marielle Dow, Nikki-Taylor Newman & Hunter Newman, along with her great nephews and niece, Caden, Theo and Everly.
Marianne was an intelligent and spirited person with a beautiful soul. She was kind and respectful to everyone and formed an immediate connection to those she met. She was an avid reader, and she shared her love of books with all. She was passionate about music, food, sports, and animals. If you wanted to win a trivia contest, Mar was your person. Mar could hold a master class in music history and sports statistics, especially tennis. Just ask her sister! She never missed a match. She would spend hours with her talking about Pro tennis, club tennis, and upcoming matches. Some of our favorite memories were at the Miami Open where she would sit for hours watching her favorite players or on the sidelines cheering the club teams on.
Mar and Chris shared their love of each other along with food, travel, music and movies. Their joy of cooking together resulted in the most amazing dinners that were second to none. They spent hours listening to their favorite songs, meditating, and sharing old movies. They could certainly recite just about any line from a Woody Allen movie. Their happiest times together were traveling and experiencing new places. Their love of the ocean and beaches were truly some of their happiest times.
When it came to family, Mar worshipped her nieces, nephews and their children. There wasn't a life event that she missed or helped plan. She was their confidant and ultimate beacon of support. They were her world. Her presence in our lives was a gift.
Marianne leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories. We shall be forever grateful for the time we spent together and the joy she brought into our lives.
