George P. Schubert

George P. Schubert of Foxboro, MA passed away on March 3, 2026. He was 81 years of age. Born and educated in Boston, MA. He enlisted in the US Navy, was a skilled plumber, carpenter and craftsman. He loved his family, he enjoyed fishing, loved animals, loved helping others and was especially proud of his many incredible woodworking projects.

He was the loving husband of the late Judith Gale Schubert. He is survived by his children Jennifer Schubert of No. Attleboro, Michael Schubert and his partner Carol Bowness of Abington, his step- children David Leonard and his wife Casey of Foxboro, Jonathan Leonard and his partner Jennifer Godley of Somerville, Susan Hayes of Norton, 2 grandchildren, his sister Marie Tarbox of Holbrook and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

George was predeceased by his parents George A. Schubert and Jessie Schubert Tarbox and his sisters Carole Taft and Joan Weathers.

Visiting hours from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on March 24th at Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, Foxboro. A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Church, Foxboro at 10:00 am on March 25 followed by burial at Rock Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
