Joyce Cavossa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberts & Sons Funeral Home - Foxborough on Feb. 23, 2026.
Joyce Marie Cavossa was born August 23, 1938 to the late Everett and Evelyn Mutlow. Proudly raised in Jamaica Plain, she then married Anthony Cavossa, Sr., the love of her life, on December 14, 1958. As they made their home in Foxboro, they were devoted to each other for 67 years of marriage. Joyce poured her heart into raising her 4 boys, and creating a life filled with love, warmth, and unwavering devotion. In Foxboro she built her legacy of kindness, strength, and faith, and developed deep roots in the community through raising her family and proudly establishing the family run A.C. Cement. She dedicated her life to her home and loved ones, embodying the values of loyalty and generosity, while being the pillar of strength and kindness to her family and friends. She entered Heaven peacefully on February 21, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was the cherished mother of Anthony Cavossa, Jr. and his companion Anna Federico, Bruce Cavossa, Michael Cavossa, and Alan Cavossa and his companion Kathy Giordano. She was the proud grandmother of Anthony and his wife Lindsay, Amanda and her companion Shawn Ballou Ashley and her husband Michael, Cam and Tyler, Lindsey and her companion Raimondo Raymond, Gillian, Nicholas, Julia, AJ and his wife Jessy. She was blessed to be the great-grandmother of Gabriella, Baker, Blakelyn, Bailey, Brooke, Damien, Arielle, Logan, Levi, Luna and Nala. Joyce was predeceased by her sisters Carol, Dorothy, Judith and her brother Donald.

Known for her warm spirit and unwavering support of her family's endeavors, Joyce touched in a special way the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the close-knit family she built and the Foxboro community she called home.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Roberts Funeral Home at 30 South Street, Foxboro from Monday March 2 from 4p.m. - 7p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass, Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxboro, MA (https://www.google.com/maps/search/58+Carpenter+Street,+Foxboro,+MA?entry=gmail&source=g) at 10 a.m. A burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time. Joyce will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts. In Joyce's honor, please carry her beautiful spirit forward by sharing a simple act of kindness and love. May we keep Joyce's spirit alive in the way we love and care for one another, always guided by the words she held close to her heart: "Always stay humble and kind."
