Palmyra - June L. Moonshine, 83, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020.
Born June 7, 1937 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Carrie M. (McCorkle) Leisure. She was the widow of Sherman H. Moonshine, Jr. since May 1992 and also preceded in death by a sister Ada Leisure.
She retired from H.B. Reese Candy Company and was a lifetime member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, Hershey.
Surviving are her daughters June E. Verocca (John) of Lebanon, Janine M. Patrick (Scott) of Hummelstown, and Jan M. Gerhart (Matthew) of Palmyra; sister Ruth Petrouskie (Gary) of Port Orchard, Washington; grandchildren Cassie L., Hannah M., Ashley N., Justin S., Trevor M., Alex E., and David A.; and three great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held 3:00 - 6:00 PM Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra. Private service and interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund, Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078.
