Leon L. Stauffer WERNERSVILLE Leon Lamar Stauffer, 44, of Wernersville, died at The West Reading Medical Center, West Reading, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, following a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Willard B. Stauffer and the late Grace Hollinger Stauffer. He was the husband of Dolores Ann Horst Stauffer. They celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on October 16th of this year. He was a member and pastor of The Green Terrace Mennonite Church, Wernersville, The Living Hope International Ministries, where he served as a board member, Gordonville; and a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School Class of 1979. He enjoyed reading and traveling as hobbies. He had been employed as a parts manager for Lebanon Valley Implement Company of Richland, as well as serving as his church's pastor. Surviving in addition to his wife are his father, Willard B. Stauffer, and stepmother, Nora Weaver Horst Stauffer of Schoeneck; sons: Andrew Leon, Brian Lee, Christopher Allen, Daniel Ray, Elvin Scott and Franklin Henry; daughters: Lisa Rene, Monica Joy and Nicole Maria Stauffer all at home; brothers: Galen E., husband of Sara Brubaker Stauffer of Lititz, Larry W., husband of Joyce Hartzler Stauffer of Womelsdorf, and John J., husband of Lois Hollinger Stauffer of Adamstown; a sister Phoebe Grace, wife of Gary Gehman of Newmanstown; two stepbrothers, Elton, husband of Charlyn Weber Horst of Leola, and Ray, husband of Doris Burkhart Horst of New Holland; and a stepsister, Anita, wife of Kevin Murphy of Sarasota, Fla. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2005, at the Hammercreek Mennonite Church, 590 Hammercreek Road, Lititz, Pa., with ministers Irvin L. Martin, Nelson B. Zeiset, Eugene Stauffer and Harold Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the church and also one hour prior to services Monday.
